Dynamite Interview Tip

Posted by Wallie

dt.jpgYour résumé and grades have gotten you this far, and the recruiter you met at that career fair took a shine to you.

But before you take that accounting job for granted, you might want to give your upcoming job interview some serious thought.

We asked a number of recruiters what prospective employees can do to impress them during a job interview.

Here’s a tip that will show you how to put your best foot forward and boost your chances of getting hired.

Demonstrate Interest

Having a fundamental understanding of the organization you wish to work for is important.

It shows commitment and initiative.

Hiring managers and human resource specialists attend career fairs to answer your questions about specific jobs and the staffing process.

Also, before you go to an interview, visit the organization’s website — the more you know the better your chances of demonstrating an interest in a job you really want.
