Finance Case Competition at Ottawa U.

The Finance Society at the University of Ottawa is hosting a case competition on March 7th and 8th.
You and two teammates can choose to compete in one of two cases: general finance or venture capital.
Registration fee: $180 per Ottawa-based team
$270 per out of town team (one night hotel stay)
$390 per out of town team (two night hotel stay)

Deloitte Tax Clinic at McMaster

The Degroote Accounting Association is looking for volunteers to help prepare tax returns for McMaster students.
Volunteers will first need to attend a training session presented by the Canada Revenue Agency on February 26th.
The tax clinic takes place on March 11th.
Show Me the Green Conference at UTM

The Undergraduate Commerce Society (UCS) at the University of Toronto Mississauga is hosting a Show Me the Green business sustainability conference on March 1st.
The keynote speaker will be Hadly Archer of the World Wildlife Fund.
There will also be a case study competition. The winning team will receive $1,000 cash prize.
Registration deadline is February 25th or the first 100 applications.
