Congratulations to a group of students from Trent University for winning the CMA Case Competition on January 26th.
The team led by Matthew Haire walked away with a trophy and $5000 cheque.
Second place went to a team from the University of Toronto’s St. George campus.
RSM Richter is hosting a Real World Challenge in March.
The case competition will be held on March 8th in Toronto and March 15th in Calgary.
Registration deadline is January 31st.
The winning teams will receive $4000.

The University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business Accounting Association is hosting its annual GAAPS conference on January 31st and February 1st. The event includes a case competition with the top three teams winning cash prizes.

The event is for first and second year students who want to learn about the different accounting designations.
