Leroy Wins VP Finance Vote at Concordia

Congratulations to André Leroy and his colleagues at UNITY for winning the Concordia Student Union election at Concordia University.

Leroy takes over as vice president of finance where he will oversee a budget of more $1 million during the 2008-2009 academic year.

Leroy is an accounting student at the John Molson School of Business where he is the John Molson Accounting Society’s (JMAS) vice president responsible for relations with the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec.

Congratulations to Team 1 from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business for winning the RSM Real World Challenge in Calgary on March 15th.

The team took home a $5000 prize. $1000 went to each member and $1000 went to the Accounting Students’ Association (ASA).

Second place went to Team 3 from the University of Calgary.
